Food Pantry Report January 16, 2019

December 2018 was a month of traditional holiday bounty.  The donation stream of product was strong.  End of year financial donations were also strong.   Pantry clients benefitted from the annual Warminster Symphony December concert collection of personal care itemsFreedom Credit Union made their annual contribution as Santa and Mrs. Claus appeared at their Northeast and Warminster branches.  Bucks Big Brothers Big Sisters held a collection at their holiday party in honor of the appearance of Santa and Mrs. Claus.  Bucks Mont Chamber of Commerce also collected product at their December luncheon meeting.

Through the efforts of Church of the Advent we were able to give away 30 full meal holiday baskets with Aldi gift cards.  A total of 215 families were served in the month which is only 3 fewer than in 2017.

While we have adequate soap, toothpaste and toothbrushes for the moment, we are in need of deodorant.  If you should see your favorite brand on sale, please BOGO- buy one and give one.

It is very gratifying to end the calendar year on such high notes.
We at the pantry thank everyone for the prayers and support that continue to make this ministry possible.
