CONGREGATION COUNCIL MINUTES
The December Congregation Council Meeting was held on 12/19/18
Council Members Present: Pastor Eric Reimer, Pat Beadling, Denise Betz, Walter Braithwaite, Patty Cawthorne, Wil Fritz, Allison Hudson, Karen Kearns, David Kroth, Linda Morrison, Michelle Pisanick, Barbara Quinn, Bruce Roper, and Ken Woods
Absent: Trish Strauss, Joycelynn Canselo
The meeting was called to order by President Wil Fritz at 7:04 p.m. The scripture was read by Bruce Roper and the prayer was offered by Karen Kearns
PERSONS WISHING TO ADDRESS COUNCIL:
Harry Betz spoke to propose the idea of being a representative to help facilitate communication between the congregation and council. Harry volunteered to take on this role. Dave Kroth will bring suggestions on what electronic tools would currently be available and how we can better track congregation’s issues and concerns.
MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING:
*The minutes from November were approved without changes. The motion was made and seconded by Pat Beadling / Barbara Quinn. MOTION CARRIED

*It was moved and seconded to accept the Treasurer’s report and the Financial Secretary’s report as presented. (Ken Woods / Michelle Pisanick) MOTION CARRIED
Technology update. Possible live streaming. Dave Kroth explained that we can, we would need to know exactly what we would want to stream. We have the necessary equipment and technology, we would need the people and their time.
Tithl.ey update given by Dave Kroth. He explained how it works as far as giving via tithl.ey to preset accounts such as the food bank, PreK, etc.
Pastor Reimer gave an update regarding Kristy Schmidt as the new Office Manager.
A motion to increase PreK tuition by $10/month was proposed by ChrisEd. After discussing, Council agreed to increase PreK tuition by $5/month.
*It was moved and seconded by Dave Kroth / Pastor Reimer.
Alison Hudson brought up the possibility of fund raising for specific items for PreK. There was concern brought up by Patty Cawthorn weather this would be allowed within the bylaws. The subject will be brought up to Joe Kircher by Wil Fritz.
